For each of seven titles, The beaver pond (1970); Earth and sky (1969); It's time now (1969); The lamb and the child (1963); The little whistler (1966); Petunia (1950); Petunia takes a trip (1953); and Sun up (1949), there are sketches and/or illustrations. There are dummies and color separations for A doll for Marie (1957); Frog in the well (1966); and Spring snow (1963). There are galleys for Frog in the well and galleys and paste-ups for The lamb and the child.

Louise Fatio was born August 18, 1904 in Lausanne, Switzerland. She married Roger Antoine Duvoisin on July 25, 1925. They had two sons. She attended boarding school in Basel and College des Jueunes Filles in Geneva. Louise Fatio gathered ideas for her own books while helping her husband with his writing for children.
